Blueberry muffins, but cookies.

Ingredients
Cookies: 1 egg 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 1/2 cups flour 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 cup blueberries
Streusel: 3 tbsp butter 3 tbsp flour 2 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream butter, sugar, and egg together.
Combine in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
Carefully fold in the blueberries, place dough in fridge to chill.
While dough chills, make a simple streusel by chopping up cold butter and rubbing in the flour and brown sugar until it forms a consistency like wet sand.
Form dough into balls, patting down slightly, and sprinkling the streusel on top.
Bake for 12 minutes. The cookies are best enjoyed while warm.

Blueberry muffins are a childhood favorite. My mouth waters thinking of them. Streusel on top and maybe that coarse sugar were always a plus. So of course I had turn them into cookies. You take a boring cookie base, add blueberries and streusel, and *presto* --- something fantastic. Best enjoyed warm out of the oven, not burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth hot, but still warm. You know how the top of the muffin is the best part? These cookies are like the muffin tops (this is a pro muffin top space), but you don't have to feel guilty for ditching the muffin... butts(?).
Heavenly. Blueberry. Muffin. Cookies. Streusel that melts in your mouth. Make them.
Also, hey to my new subscribers! Yes, I see you all. It warms my heart every time you pop on the sight.
